Datamax-O’Neil, a provider of label and receipt printing systems, has introduced the p1725 label printer for wide-width label applications. The latest in Datamax-O’Neil’s Performance Series, the p1725 label printers are designed for simple operation, loading and integration.

The new 7-inch wide label printing solution offers a patented design that simplifies setup, operation, media loading and integration. Recommended for label printing in compliance, manufacturing, logistics/warehouse, healthcare and retail applications, the p1725 has been designed from the ground up to meet industry requirement for wide-width label printers that are easy to use, load and integrate and print high quality labels, says Ken Colonel, Datamax-O’Neil’s director of product development. He adds that the p1725’s features provide cost savings because they reduce operator setup, integration and maintenance requirements, and provide for “zero label waste,” all at a competitive price point.

Key features of Datamax-O’Neil’s Performance Series p1725 label printers include automatic self-adjustment to maximize print quality and increase printhead life; color touchscreen display to simplify daily operation and maintenance; an auto-load feature to virtually eliminate label waste; and industry standard HP compatible PCL print language and Linux operating system for easy integration into SAP and other ERP network environments.
